Family Fellowship Class
We are pretty much the Baby Boomer class, give or take a few years either way.
Location: Our class meets in the Large AWANA Room which is right behind the kitchen and Small AWANA Room. An easy way to find us is to exit the sanctuary through the center aisle double doors. Go straight in the hallway, through the double doors into the stairwell and turn left again. This will bring you into the back of our class.
Format: Our class is set up with round tables to encourage fellowship and interaction. There are no assigned seats so feel free to take whatever seats are available. In the back of the class we have coffee, tea and light refreshments. Please help yourself. We usually begin the class acknowledging birthdays and anniversaries. We follow this with a time of sharing praises and special needs. Pastor Daren teaches the class with a combination of lecture and discussion. Discussion is always voluntary.
The Family Fellowship Class is studying “Brothers and Sisters”. It is based upon Galatians 5:13, “For you, brethren, have been called to liberty; only do not use liberty as an opportunity for the flesh, but through love serve one another.” This study focuses upon the “one another” passages in the New Testament.
Time: Our informal fellowship time usually runs from 9:25 am to about 9:40 am. Class is over at 10:30 am.
Fellowships: We have large and small group fellowship opportunities throughout the year. Supper Six is a program in which couples and individuals get together for a meal. This is a great time to get to know new people. We have done picnics, Curve Game outings and our Christmas Party is legendary.
We love to have new people attend our class. Come out and give us a try. If we can be of help to you or if you have questions please contact Pastor Daren via email or phone 695-4060 (church office) and 941-9235 (home phone).
